The 37.9 km Bodo–Bonny Road and the Proposed East–West Connection: What It Means for Finima

The Bodo–Bonny Road and bridges project is approximately 37.9 kilometres long—commonly described as about 40 km—and provides the first direct road link between Bonny Island and the mainland.

Two related projects, not one

It is important to distinguish the completed 37.9 km Bodo–Bonny Road from the separately announced 8.9 km dualisation proposal that would connect the route toward the East–West Road. The 8.9 km figure is not the length of the Bodo–Bonny Road itself.
